Harpointner noted that despite the grim economy, advertisers are seizing this 'unique' opportunity to premiere their message in front of the "The Super Bowl is the top dog," Harpointner said. "It's one last standing opportunity to reach an audience across all age One example is employment website Monster. In a recession-strafed economy marked by job layoffs and tightfisted spending by advertisers, Monster had to make a move to prove it's still a leader among career sites, commented Harpointner, of AIS Media. "A lot of people are going to be out of work, so Monster knows this is potential business for them," he said. "They also have to demonstrate to advertisers how much traffic they are getting to their Web site. The more traffic they get, the more they can charge for ads on the site."
