Colorado Biz Magazine Highlights AIS Media Inc. Regarding Survey Results on Consumers Internet Usage August 8, 2007 Colorado Biz Magazine wrote an article highlighting AIS Media Inc.’s recent survey conducted on consumer attitudes when selecting a restaurant and their usage of the Internet when making this selection. For the poll 2,517 consumers nationwide responded. Results were released August 1, 2007. Excerpts from the article include: Online advertising and marketing techniques, such as e-mail coupons, are changing the face of the restaurant industry, claims AIS Media Inc. (www.aismedia.com), an Atlanta-based e-mail and online storefront company. It polled 2,517 people via e-mail about whether they used the Internet to research restaurants. The poll showed that 89 percent of consumers have researched a restaurant online prior to visiting a restaurant, AIS Media said. Among those who research online prior to selecting a restaurant, 57 percent of respondents said they check out the restaurant’s site. This was greatest among respondents in the 25 to 45 age groups and in the Northeast and Pacific coast. "The key in using email as part of the restaurant’s marketing campaign is to make sure that is a targeted campaign reaching your potential consumer," said Thomas Harpointner, CEO of AIS Media.
